18-20 inch Bespoke, made-to-order shamanic drum cover or shaman drum bag, crafted from recycled beaver lamb fur for a perfectly cushioned sanctuary for your sacred instrument.
1/9

Born of old stories and new dreams,
each shamanic drum bag is stitched by hand—every thread a prayer, every seam a spell of protection. From recycled vintage beaver lamb coats, the past is reborn—turned inside out so that the soft wool, once facing the world, now forms the perfect, cushioned sanctuary for your shamanic drum—a protective home that embraces and honours your sacred instrument.

Every bag I create is a story waiting to be told. No two are ever alike, for each one is born through an intuitive dance of vision, spirit, and craft.
Each one is adorned with bespoke, hand-painted imagery, featuring power animals, spirit guides, or the ancient Tree of Life. These designs are often interwoven with Ogham letters, Druidic symbols, or Norse runes. Painted by hand with careful strokes of acrylic, each symbol a key to ancient paths, every brushstroke a whisper of ancestral wisdom…
When I begin, I listen—first to your ideas and dreams for the artwork, and then to the whispers of the unseen. I sit with the image, meditating on what wishes to emerge, and sometimes I journey to the spirit realms to discover what is ready to be born through my hands…
The animals I work with—whether painted on the front or present as guiding spirits—carry their own medicine. I invite their wisdom to flow into the design, asking them to walk with me in this creation. Some pieces call for stones, runes, or ogham symbols; others speak through the pure essence of the animal or guides painted on the surface. Each decision arises from a place of deep listening…
When the vision is clear in my mind’s eye, I create sketches for you to see. Together, we shape the final image. Once you give your blessing, I begin—the first stitches and brushstrokes marking the beginning of a journey that will lead to a bag unlike any other.

I paint exclusively with acrylics, a medium I trust for its strength and flexibility. Once dry, the paint becomes water-resistant yet allows the leather to remain soft and alive in your hands.

Because I work with recycled materials, each bag is shaped by the story of the leather itself. The grain of an old coat, the way it wishes to be cut—these details guide the form. Larger covers (18–20 inches) often show visible stitching or are pieced from two panels, a reminder of their journey and transformation.

The Process
Before ordering, we’ll speak about your vision—the symbols, patterns, or artwork that want to live on your bag.
From first sketches to final creation, the process takes 3-4 weeks, allowing the design to emerge organically.
A £60+ deposit secures your commission. This deposit will be deducted from the final price once your bag is complete and ready for its new home.

Materials & Spirit
I work with gratitude for all beings who lend their essence to this art—the animal whose leather carries your drum, the bird whose feather dances on its surface, the stones and trees that gift their energy. Each part is acknowledged and honored in the making.

The beaver lamb I use is a high-grade lambskin, treated to mirror the softness and luster of sheared mink or beaver fur. Its fibers are set with care to resist moisture, ensuring beauty and resilience.

The bags you see here are windows into my past creations, each a reflection of someone’s story. None will ever be recreated, for they are as personal as a heartbeat. Your drum cover will be born only once, carrying your energy, your vision, your spirit.
I see each creation as a collaboration between you, me, and the spirit of nature.
I work intuitively, blending artistry with symbolism to create pieces that feel personal and alive. My goal is to craft not just a cover for your drum, but a one-of-a-kind object that reflects your journey, and your connection to the natural world.
